How it works
- Get your referral link. Find it on the Plan & Billing page or your dashboard
- Share it with a friend. They sign up through your link
- They add their first card. Both of you receive seven extra trial days, or the applicable account credit if you already subscribe
- They add five cards. You earn one free month of Collector, and your friend receives 10 bonus scan credits
- Stack up to five months. Refer multiple friends and bank up to five free months total
What each person gets

Scanning is unlimited during an active trial or Collector subscription. Your friend's earned bonus scans remain available after the trial: each credit covers one successful photo match and save. Manual adds, other edits, and binder changes still require Collector.
For existing Collector subscribers
If you're already subscribed to Collector, Cubbby records the earned month and applies the applicable credit to your Stripe account.
Redeeming free months
Earned months are recorded in your referral balance. Paid subscribers also receive the applicable Stripe account credit. Check Plan & Billing for your balance and billing status.
Tracking referral progress
Go to Plan & Billing. The Referrals section shows:
- Your unique referral link
- Each referred friend and their progress toward the five-card threshold
- How many free months you've earned and how many you've used
Rules
- You can earn up to 5 free months from referrals
- Self-referrals are not allowed
- Your friend must be a new Cubbby user (no existing account)
- The five-card threshold must be reached for the referrer reward to unlock
