Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 20, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Cubbby. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use the Cubbby platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password hash, when you use email and password sign-in
  • Account preferences and settings

2.2 User Content

When you use the Service, you may provide content such as:

  • Images of sports cards
  • Card details, notes, and descriptions
  • Collection organization data
  • Comments, posts, and community interactions

2.3 Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device and browser information
  • IP address and access timestamps
  • Feature usage and interaction data
  • Error logs and performance metrics

This information helps us operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service
  • Identify, catalog, and organize cards using AI assisted tools
  • Display collection data and community features
  • Improve accuracy, performance, and user experience
  • Communicate with you about updates, features, and support
  • Detect fraud, abuse, or misuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

With your optional consent, we also measure site use and advertising results through the services described below. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from using Cubbby.

4. AI Processing and Market Data

Cubbby uses artificial intelligence to assist with card identification, categorization, and insights.

When you upload images or data:

  • Processing occurs securely
  • AI analysis is used solely to provide and improve the Service
  • Your content is not sold to third parties
  • AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete

Market related data and insights are informational only and may be estimated, delayed, or derived from third party sources. They are not guarantees of value or performance.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Secure authentication systems
  • Access controls and monitoring
  • Ongoing security reviews

Account settings, billing details, purchase costs and private notes require authenticated access. New collection profiles start private. You can change collection and binder visibility in settings. Public profiles and published Feed posts can be viewed by other people; making a collection private does not remove posts you have already published. Existing users keep their chosen visibility settings.

6. Data Retention

  • We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service.
  • You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited information only in the following cases:

  • Service Providers: Trusted partners that help operate the Service, such as hosting or analytics providers
  • Optional Analytics: When enabled, Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager, receives page views and product events, browser and device information, online identifiers, and campaign attribution. Google processes this information under its privacy policy.
  • Optional Advertising Measurement: When enabled, Meta Pixel receives browser activity and conversion events. Meta Conversions API can send account conversion events from our servers, including a hashed email address and account identifier, and available browser, IP address and cookie information. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. These services help measure and attribute advertising results.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where applicable

You can exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting support.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, maintain sessions, and ensure basic functionality.
  • Analytics and marketing tracking are off until you choose to enable them. Google tags load only with analytics consent, and Meta Pixel loads only with marketing consent.
  • We remember your browser choice for up to 180 days. For signed-in users, the marketing choice also updates the account preference used for future server-side advertising events.
  • You can reject optional tracking or withdraw consent below or through the footer. Withdrawal stops future optional tracking and removes applicable first-party tracking cookies where possible; the page may reload to unload trackers. It does not recall information already sent to a provider.
  • Essential storage, account operations, security logs and service requests continue when optional tracking is off. You can also manage cookies in your browser.

10. Third Party Links

The Service may link to third party sites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies separately.

11. Children's Privacy

Cubbby is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us.

12. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with this Policy.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

14. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us through the support options available within the application.
