Your collection total adds the saved value of each owned copy. It uses your manual value when one is set; otherwise, it uses that card's saved market estimate.
Where the estimate comes from
A price lookup checks recent sales and estimates alongside current fixed-price asks. The chosen value keeps its basis and confidence. An asking-price estimate can contribute to the total, but it is still an estimate, not a completed sale.
See How Cubbby card values work for the selection order and evidence details.
Cards without a value
Cards with no supported estimate remain in your collection. They are counted as missing a value rather than treated as known $0 cards. You can set your own value, including $0 when that is intentional.
Purchase price and quantity
Purchase price records what you paid. It is separate from the current value and does not automatically become the market estimate. Each saved copy contributes separately to your total, including duplicates you own.
After a refresh
Once a requested lookup finishes, the saved value is reused by your collection, detail page, and current collection total. Reference sales, listings, and prices for other grades do not independently change that amount.
