Similar designs, glare, small slab text, and rare versions can produce a close but incorrect match. Treat the suggested result as something to verify against your card.
Before saving
- Compare the year, set, player, card number, and insert with your photo.
- Check Which version do you have? for available parallels or other versions.
- Confirm any autograph and serial numbering from the card itself.
- Choose Raw or the actual grading company and numeric grade. BCCG and BGS are different companies; matching numbers do not make their grades interchangeable.
- If none of the choices is correct, correct the identity fields or search using the printed details. Do not save a nearby match just to get a value.
A clearer front photo can help. Use the back of the physical card to check the number and set while reviewing; uploading front and back as two files does not automatically combine them.
After saving
Open Refresh price on the card detail page. Scan my photo checks the saved image again; Find a catalog match lets you search by text. Review any new match before confirming it for your copy.
