Collection tiles and card detail pages display saved values. A refresh checks current available evidence for the saved identity and grade, then stores the result for reuse across those views.
Refresh an owned card
Open the card detail page and select Refresh price. Choose the option that fits:
- Scan my photo: find catalog matches for the saved photo and review the exact card before confirming.
- Find a catalog match: search the catalog by name, year, set, or card number and choose the exact insert and version.
- Use saved card details: keep the current identity and request a new price lookup.
The selected catalog record supplies the player, year, set, card number, and variation. These fields are read-only in this dialog; search for another catalog entry if they do not match your card. Your saved grade and photos stay unchanged. Marketplace listings may supply pricing evidence after confirmation, but do not supply these identity fields.
Review the confirmation before applying a different identity. Pricing may continue in the background after confirmation; the dialog reports whether it has finished or is still queued.
What changes after a refresh
A completed lookup updates the saved market estimate and its valuation details. Collection and dashboard data refresh to use that same value. A value you set manually remains in place until you change or clear it.
If providers are temporarily unavailable, Cubbby keeps the previous value. If the lookup finishes with no supported evidence, it can show No estimate.
Reference panels
Opening sales, available listings, or prices for other grades does not reprice your card. Search results are also research context, rather than a replacement for your saved copy's estimate.
