Bonus scans are earned photo scans you can use after your 7-day trial ends. Scanning is already unlimited during an active trial or Collector subscription, so your earned credits stay available for later.
How to get bonus scans
Sign up through a referral link and save five cards. Once you have added five cards, Cubbby credits 10 bonus scans to your account. The credits are not awarded at signup.
Do bonus scans expire?
They stay available until you use them. After your trial, one earned credit covers one successful photo match and saving that identified card to your collection. A photo that does not produce an eligible match does not spend a credit. Manual card adds, other edits, and binder changes still require Collector.
What does the referrer get?
After you save your first card, both you and your friend receive seven extra trial days (or the applicable account credit for a paid referrer). When you save five cards, your friend earns one free month of Collector. Referrers can bank up to five free months.
How to refer others
You can find your own referral link on the Plan & Billing page or on your dashboard. Share it with friends who collect cards. When a referred friend saves five cards, you earn a free month.
